To prepare you to minister God’s love and Word to His people in your neighborhood, city and beyond, Woman’s Missionary Union/Women’s Ministries is presenting a two-day Cross Cultural Sensitivity training event July 11-12.

Held at New Hope Community Church, 3041 N. Peck Road in El Monte, the training will begin with a cultural dining experience at 5 p.m. on Friday and conclude Saturday at 4 p.m.

This event is designed to help prepare you to experience various cultural elements of ministering to people from groups different than your own. If you are planning to participate in any short- or long-term mission trips, this event is for you! You don’t have to leave your city to encounter cultures from around the world. Experience the world, prepare to better serve God and bring His message to others in your own backyard or across the globe.

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!’” (Romans 10:14)
