Steve Pearson is the Chief Financial Officer for California Southern Baptist Convention. His primary responsibilities include oversight and direction of all financial management, information technology services, risk management, facilities management and human resource functions. He also oversees the activities and operations of Jenness Park Christian Camp.
Steve serves as staff liaison to the Finance Committee of the CSBC Executive Board and the Resolutions and Credentials Committee. He also participates with the Committee on Convention Operations and other convention staff in providing logistical support and management for the State Convention Annual Meeting.
A Certified Public Account, Steve has 15 years of service in public accounting; he also served for approximately 15 years in the CFO/Controller role, most recently as Market Controller for Clear Channel Communications in Fresno. Steve has a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from California State University, Stanislaus.
Steve and his wife Jana have two sons and two daughters. They are members of Woodward Park Baptist Church and serve the community through participation in Neighborhood (School) Adoption, Special Olympics, Fresno Rescue Mission discipleship and executive board membership.
He has served California Southern Baptists since September 2009.
