Salvador Fernandez is a California Southern Baptist Convention church planting catalyst, serving four associations in Northern California. His assignment is to help individuals, churches and associations in the process of starting Hispanic churches.
He has a diploma in theology from the Hispanic Baptist Theological Seminary in San Antonio, TX. He attended Weber State University in Ogden, UT with a major in child and family studies. He has a bachelor’s degree in theology and a master of pastoral ministries degree from Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary in Georgia.
In his 39 years of service he has served 23 as a bivocational pastor/missionary and 16 as a career missionary with the Home (now North American) Mission Board. He has served CSBC since 2004.
He and his wife Maria have been married 41 years and have three children and two granddaughters.
