Song Sik Kim is a church starting strategist for the California Southern Baptist Convention Language Church Starting Group. His responsibilities are to help to start Korean churches throughout the state and provide Southern Baptist resources to Korean churches.

He has a bachelor’s degree from California Baptist College (now University), a master of divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.

He served as associate pastor and pastor in California for 16 years and 13 years as a church starting strategist.

Kim and his wife, Fanny, have two daughters.
