Tim Gentry is an evangelism specialist in the Healthy Church Group of California Southern Baptist Convention. His primary job responsibilities are to consult with churches in developing healthy church strategies and to mobilize evangelism training in California Southern Baptist churches.
Tim is also responsible for developing conferences for the Healthy Church Group including the On Target Evangelism Conference.
Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Central University, Ada, OK, a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, and a doctor of ministry degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Mill Valley, CA.
Tim founded and served as pastor of West Roseville Baptist Church, Roseville, CA, for 12 years and has served California Southern Baptists since April 1995.
Personally, Tim has completed nine marathons including Boston three times and became a grandfather on July 4, 2006. He is married and has two grown children.
