Eva De La Rosa serves as the SENT Specialist for Women’s Ministries & Missions in the California Southern Baptist Convention missions discipleship group. Her primary responsibility is to assist churches in the development and growth of women’s ministries and missions groups.
She provides quality resources to assist local churches in developing healthy women’s ministries groups that advance the opportunities of equipping women to become balanced, mature followers of Christ, glorifying God through personal Bible study, missions involvement and sharing their faith. Additionally, she resources and provides training for church and associational Woman’s Missionary Union groups for all age-levels approaches, as well as ministries that enable every member of the church to learn about missions, pray for missions, support missions, become involved in missions and live an Acts 1:8 lifestyle.
As the Sent Specialist for Women’s Ministries & Missions, Eva provides a variety of opportunities to involve all church members. These may be one-time events, short-term activities, ongoing projects or awareness opportunities. Eva also assists Southern Baptist Convention international missionaries on stateside assignment to connect with CSBC churches, assists missionary children returning to the US to attend college, with transportation to the annual MK Re-Entry Retreat, and providing ongoing women’s leadership development opportunities.
Eva is a graduate of California Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and a master’s degree in counseling ministry.
Eva served as the site coordinator for Central Coast Christian Women’s Job Corps for six years and as education director at New Hope Community Church in El Monte for six years.
Eva is married to Gil and has two adult children and five grandchildren.
