Christian Who Vote: Voices of Redemption

On Thursday, Oct. 18, California Southern Baptist Convention is offering a Webinar to help provide churches and members tools and resources to make informed voting decisions.

The Webinar, scheduled for this Thursday at 2 p.m., will feature CSBC pastors Montia Setzler of Magnolia Avenue Baptist Church in Riverside and Mike Nolen of Southwinds Church in Tracy.

The 30-minute online presentation is jointly sponsored by CSBC, the California Family Council and Focus on the Family. With the November general election quickly approaching, those who participate in the Webinar will be provided with links to “excellent voting helps,” according to Ron Prentice, CFC executive director.

Prentice noted participants will hear about “what happens in elections where Christians participate” from David Barton, founder of WallBuilders, an organization dedicated to presenting America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious and constitutional foundation on which America was built.

Participation is limited and registration is required. If you need help registering, call Focus on the Family at 719-433-4093. Otherwise, we’ll “see” you online this Thursday.

Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation with connection information to join the Webinar. You will need a computer with speakers to hear the presentation.
