Prepare NOW for Missions in 2015!

Now is the time to plan and prepare for how you and your church will engage in missions in 2015. The California SENT Conference is your resource for doing just that, providing help with mission strategy, preparation, skills, witnessing, financing and much more. If you are planning to do missions in 2015, this conference will help you!

The California SENT Conference is set for November 7-8 at First Baptist Church in Fair Oaks. More than 30 workshops will be offered, as well as a free Friday night Missions Rally featuring Jeff Iorg, president of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Ministry displays will be available to help you connect to resources and mission opportunities, including the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board. This conference is for pastors, church staff and all church members who want to be engaged in missions.

Workshops are scheduled for Friday afternoon at 2:00 and 3:30; the Rally is Friday night at 7:00. Saturday’s workshops begin early for the adventurous: 7:30! Two more Saturday opportunities for workshops are 9:00 and 10:45, and the conference concludes at noon. Make sure you view the workshop offerings to plan your experience.

The California SENT Conference will feature special workshops for pastors, including those who serve as single-staff and bivocational pastors. Three workshops will be offered in Spanish and one in Russian; one is designed for African-American ministers.

As a bonus, Disaster Relief will offer two certification trainings for those interested in doing missions via response to disasters.

Registration for the conference is $15, while the Friday evening Rally is free. Participation in Disaster Relief training requires an additional $35.

This is a DON’T MISS missions event for everyone. No matter how you plan to do missions next year, this conference will help. We are all called to GO, both to our unchurched next-door neighbors and to the unreached people group across the planet.
