Safety and security for childhood ministries

California Southern Baptist Convention has resources to help develop and implement worker screening, supervision and reporting procedures to reduce the risks to minors, church leaders and churches concerning child abuse.  CSBC can help with training and consultation for pastors and church leaders responsible to develop a plan for their church.  Insurance companies are increasing requirements and churches the need to do everything possible to reduce the risk of child abuse.  

Often church leaders ask about legal requirements.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission approved baby crib standards that affects most churches.  Insurance companies are increasing requirements and church need to do everything possible to reduce the risk of child abuse.

The goal of CSBC's children/preschool ministries is to position your church to care for children, protect volunteer leaders and reach families by providing a safe and secure environment.
