California Southern Baptist Convention has resources to provide training and help in developing and implementing worker screening, supervision and reporting procedures to reduce the risks to minors, church leaders and churches concerning child abuse. CSBC can help with training and consultation for pastors and church leaders responsible to develop a plan for their church. Insurance companies are increasing requirements and churches are seeing the need to do everything possible to reduce the risk of child abuse.
