Youth Speakers' Tournament is a premier discipleship training event for students in the 10th through 12th grades.  Students create an original, 4-to-6 minute speech from an established list of discipleship topics.  Participants present their speech to a panel of three judges who provide positive critical feedback and score the speech accordingly.  Students compete in church and associational tournaments culminating in a statewide final tournament held in early April.  The top-scoring speaker may be eligible for a scholarship from California Baptist University and will present their speech at the Tsunami youth conference at the end of the year.
