Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions focuses on Southern Baptist mission efforts in the United States and Canada.

Named in honor of Annie Armstrong, who served as a missionary in Baltimore, the offering supports ministries of more than 5,000 North American missionaries who serve primarily in church planting, but also in a variety of other ways including Baptist centers, language ministries and evangelism.

The offering is traditionally featured near Easter each year. The North American Mission Board produces many quality products to assist churches in emphasizing this important opportunity to support missions in the U.S. and Canada.

An integral part of the offering is the Week of Prayer and Mission Study. For 2017, the week of March 5-12 has been designated for the study. However, church leaders may choose to conduct the study anytime during the Easter season or at another convenient time when North American missions is emphasized.

This Convention serves our culturally diverse congregations as we fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
