See You At the Pole and Global Week of Student Prayer

See You At the Pole and Global Week of Student Prayer

Each fall, there are two opportunities to encourage students to pray.

  • GLOBAL WEEK OF STUDENT PRAYER is dedicated to prayer and launching on-campus Bible clubs, prayer strategies, and student ministries.
  • SEE YOU AT THE POLE is a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.

See You at the Pole™ is on the fourth Wednesday of September. All around the globe, in every time zone, students gather for a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer for their generation.

The Global Week of Student Prayer, emphasized the last week of September, encourages students to find new and unique ways, places and times to pray throughout the week. Whether they attend public, private or home school, they are encouraged to gather friends wherever and whenever and pray!

2019 theme:

Parents and youth workers are invited to pray for students at the same time, but should do so at church, at work or across the street from the campus.

Everything necessary for students to plan and promote a successful SYATP and Global Week of Student Prayer is available free at
