There are many opportunities to receive missions education training each year. 

RefresHer Weekend provides age level leadership training as well as informational seminars on creating mission awareness in your church.  Associational WMU organizations also provide regional training events that address interests and needs of their churches. 

National Woman's Missionary Union provides regional missions education training in Las Vegas.  This is specialized training for associational WMU leaders.  The Training Effective Leadership will be held in Las Vegas on February 24-26, 2005.  More information is available at the national WMU Web site at www.wmu.org.

The State WMU & Women's Ministries Leadership Council is divided into age level teams and can provide individual church training events or regional seminars.  These teams are equipped to meet specific church needs for missions education.  These teams can be enlisted through the state WMU & Women's Ministries Office.

The state WMU & women's ministries specialist is available to speak at missions education events, provide one-on-one consultations with pastors and missions education leadership and training church or associational missions leadership teams.
