Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions focuses on Southern Baptist mission efforts in the United States and Canada.  Named in honor of Annie Armstrong who served as a missionary in Baltimore, this offering helps support the work of more than 5,000 North American missionaries.  These missionaries serve through Baptist centers, language ministries, church planting, resorts and inner cities.  The offering is traditionally featured near Easter each year.  NAMB produces many quality products that will assist churches in emphasizing this important opportunity to support missions in our homeland.  For more information about Annie Armstrong go to www.anniearmstrong.com or to the NAMB Web site at www.namb.net to download resources.

The theme for 2012 is "Whatever It Takes". The Scripture is Mark 2:1-5 (HCSB)

"When He entered Capernaum again after some days, it was reported that He was at home. So many people gathered together that there was no more room, not even in the doorway, and He was speaking the message to them. Then they came to Him bringing a paralytic, carried by four men. Since they were not able to bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above where He was. And when they had broken through, they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic was lying. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
