Ernestine Brown-Reese, Women on Mission Director of Brister Memorial Baptist Church of Compton had this to say recently about her involvement in California women’s Leadership FasTrak seminars:
“Proper implementation of the skills learned in the FasTrak program has improved the productivity of the organizations I am involved with in my local church and the community outreach ministries of the church. Becoming an effective leader begins with prayer, a Christ-centered motivation, a vision or mission statement and the proper development of personal skills to implement the plan.
"Utilizing the skills learned in the workshops has improved my leadership style because I have a clearer understanding of what it means to be a servant leader and how to develop a team atmosphere when planning a meeting, mission project, conferences, or when teaching Sunday School."
It is important to note that proper planning and preparation are essential ingredients when implementing the skills offered in the FasTrak diploma program. We should always learn to recognize the spiritual gifts of team members, develop a nurturing spirit, and learn to communicate effectively in a loving manner
A properly trained leader is Christ-centered, confident in her abilities and equipped to do the work of the Lord.
Taking leadership to the next level!
