Our Californian/Croatian Partnership is preparing to launch to the next level, adding a new dimension or shall we say another layer to the partnership. And we want YOU and your church to be involved. We are beginning preparation for church to church partnerships! Your church can become involved with a specific church in Croatia. Your Women on Mission (WOM)group can partner with a ZUM group in a Croatian Baptist church on a specific project or can start a Kuna Club to match their church’s efforts in the continuing development of their missions education and action programs. Are you ready for the challenge in 2008 to take the partnership to another level?

 

So far we have spent most of our efforts, with a few women traveling to Croatia to invest in the training an development of their leadership team; helping with planning, strategizing, equipping and encouraging through conferences, seminars, retreats and one-on-one training. As well as bringing Melanjia, Croatian Women’s Desk Vice President, to California to participate in two RefresHers and providing the opportunity for 2 Croatian collegiate women to attend Blume this past summer along with our San Diego Acteen group.

 

Of course you have been a valuable part of the entire effort, because without your prayer support and the financial gifts through offerings at RefresHer and California Women’s Meetings, we would not have accomplished this much in these short three years. But now the next step will involve a more personal church to church, woman to woman, women with women approach….are you ready to picture yourself as part of the exchange?

Get ready for God to grow you and your church as we continue the partnership and carry the WMU vision statement: WMU challenges Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God--- across the world, church to church as we continue to Discover the Joy of Missions together through our California/Croatian Partnership.
