The missions organization, Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) of the Southern Baptist Convention, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, produces a variety of materials for different language groups. These resources are printed and/or online. With the task of providing missions education information, WMU publishes periodicals, educational pieces and brochures as well as online resources for women and their churches. Print Resources
Auxilio! is a booklet written to help new immigrants navigate American culture. Written in Spanish, it contains helpful information on topics such as schools, banking, etc. It’s a good tool to use in reaching out to the Hispanics in your community.

Como involucrar a su iglesia en misiones is the guide for having missions education in Hispanic churches. It was written primarily for the Spanish-speaking community and is a basic resource for establishing missions emphases in the church.

First Steps in Missions, Korean Teaching Guide is designed for the preschool missions leader who speaks limited or no English. Contact the WMU national Korean consultant at angelakim9@gmail.com for copies of this and other missions education materials written in Korean.

Missions Plan Book, 2008-2009 has been written to help smaller churches and language congregations have missions education. Written in basic English, it contains an entire year of mission studies, plans, Bible studies and ministry ideas. A great resource!

Nuestra Tarea is the primary resource for Hispanic women and leaders and focuses on the woman in the pew; it is especially valuable for churches in which there are more first-generation members. Subscriptions can be obtained through WMU Customer Service.
